Isn't it funny the way in which God speaks to us?
I remember when, I remember, I remember when I lost my mind There was something so pleasant about that place.Even your emotions have an echoIn so much spaceAnd when you're out thereWithout care,Yeah, I was out of touchBut it wasn't because I didn't know enoughI just knew too much. Does that make me crazyDoes that make me crazyDoes that make me crazy?PossiblyAnd I hope that you are having the time of your lifeBut think twice, that's my only advice Come on now, who do you, who do you, who do you, who do you think you are,Ha ha ha bless your soulYou really think you're in controlWell, I think you're crazyI think you're crazyI think you're crazyJust like you My heroes had the heart to Lose their lives out on a limbAnd all I remember is thinking, I want to be like themEver since I was little, ever since I was little it looked like funAnd it's no coincidence we're as one And I can die when I'm doneMaybe I'm crazyMaybe you're crazyMaybe we're crazyPossibly.

ReplyDeleteI have a good quote for you. Then lest talk about Church service and logistics.
ReplyDeleteThe closer we get to God and his holiness the more or sin come to light. The prophet Isaiah encountered God and said woe is me.
We get a glimpse of Gods purity and we get a glimpse of how dirty we are.
I believe our encounters with a Holy God should always contain repentance. At least when he is revealing his Holiness. I question those who encounter God and still walk and talk like they are good people. Woe is me! that shows human pride.
Question do you thing that as a pastor you will rely heavily on scripture (expository preacher)? I believe this is the safest and most biblical way. Rob Bell sort of does this. Also how should communiion be observed in church/how often? I think at least bi weekly. I also think the there should be a way to observe confession in a Protestant sense of the word in the church culture. According to James.
